Raj Kumar Yadav all praises for his NH10 co-star Freida Pinto!

Kai Po Che! fame Raj Kumar Yadav, who is set to share screen space with internationally acclaimed Indian actress Freida Pinto in NH10, is all praises for his co-star. He is quite impressed with his co-star’s down-to-earth attitude and describes her as a wonderful person.

Raj Kumar was speaking the same after recently meeting the actress, who is making her debut in Bollywood with NH10.

Freida, who claimed to fame with Slumdog Millionaire, later, went on to feature in other international projects such as Woody Allen’s You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger and Rupert Wyatt’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes. “I just met Freida, I was very nervous but she made me feel very comfortable. The best part is that she doesn’t come with baggage of being a star in Hollywood. She is a wonderful person. I am really looking forward to work with her,” said Raj Kumar.

The film will start rolling by the end of March. “The film is set in North India and it’s a love story, thriller. We will be undergoing special workshops for the movie soon,” said the actor

Director Navdeep Singh’s NH10 is being produced by Udaan fame Vikramaditya Motwane.

Sidharth Malhotra’s look is being re-styled for The Villian!

Sidharth Malhotra, who won million hearts with his chocolate boy image in debut film Student of the Year, will now be seen in entirely different avatar in Ekta Kapoor’s next The Villian. It is learnt that for the film, where he will be seen in action avatar, his look is being re-styled.

Little birdie chirps that The Villian team wants Sidharth to look tough, mean and mildly stubbled. The look requires him to look brawny and even sport a different hair-do, said a statement.

“Sidharth’s look is been worked upon right now. There are look tests which are happening. He will be seen in a different genre of film. Hence, his look is of uttermost important,” said a source. Until now, eight to 10 looks have been tried on the model-turned-actor.

Balaji Motion Pictures and director Mohit Suri are keen to position Siddharth as the quintessential mass hero in the film, set in Mumbai.

Sunny Deol will not romance Amrita Rao!

The actor, who has given quite a number of hits with his action packed movies and has reached the age of 56, Sunny Deol is to be seen romancing Kangana Ranaut who is half her age in the movie I Love NY (New Year).

Apparently the actor and the makers of his upcoming movie Singh Saheb The Great seem to have realized that it is not his age to romance his leading ladies anymore. This time in his flick we shall get to see no romance between the almost 60 years old actor and Amrita Rao.

A source said, “The makers are very clear about the fact that they can’t show Sunny and Amrita serenading each other. This is a topical film with a lot of drama, wit and action. However there is no love story in there and both actors are playing their age.”

The movie which is being directed by Anil Sharma shows the two actors sharing a lot of screen space, but they will not be holding hands or singing love struck songs.

Confirming the news, Amrita said, “Yes, there is no romantic angle between me and Sunny. That’s very unique to find an opportunity like that when you are working so closely and at length with an actor like him and still not being opposite him in a conventional sense.”

Sunny Paji it’s never too late for anything, your romance with 25 years old Kangana has clearly marked the importance of love over age.

Sonam Kapoor is enjoying acting with Ayushmann Khurrana!

Sonam Kapoor has been missing from movies for some time now and here she is back with quite a number of movies in kitty. The actress has just wrapped up with the shooting of her movie Raanjhana in which she will be seen opposite the south actor and son-in-law of Rajnikanth, Dhanush.

Next she has the big project Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in which she will be seen opposite Farhan Akhtar who plays the role of Milkha Singh the athlete. And now the actress has started shooting for her upcoming movie by Yash Raj Films which is yet untitled. The comic love story during the days of recession is being directed by Nupur Asthana.

The 27 year old actress, who gets carried away by very few people, has become fond of Ayushmann Khurrana just after one day of shoot with his gentleman behavior and natural acting. Now we must say that the actor sure has something to move the ladies.

Sonam said, “Ayushmann Khurrana is a thorough gentleman. He is such a natural actor, so well-behaved and respectful. I love working with him. It has been the most wonderful experience working with a co-star.”

Is Parineeti moving in with her boyfriend?

Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti seems to have gotten very serious about her alleged boyfriend ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ director Maneesh Sharma!

According to a source close to the couple, “They are planning to have a live-in relationship. Though they haven’t moved in together yet, the plan definitely seems to be on the cards.”

Apparently Parineeti and boyfriend Maneesh are planning to shift into a flat in a suburban Mumbai locality. Though Parineeti has been denying her relationship with Maneesh, a source close to the actress says, “Parineeti is a modern girl and doesn’t think of live-in relationships as taboo. Moreover, living amidst the glamorous circles of Mumbai for the past few years, after shifting from a little town called Ambala in Punjab, she seems to have changed her views a lot.”

Why then does Parineeti, when asked about her relationship blatantly call it insane and irritating? She also says, “I’m going to slap the next person who asks me this.” But rumour has it that the ‘Ishaqzaadi’ has started admitting to Maneesh in close friend circles.

Kareena’s surprise for Saif

The newlyweds, Saif and Kareena Khan are making the most of every moment they get to spend together! When Bebo was busy shooting in Bhopal for Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’, hubby Saif took some time out from his shooting schedule of ‘Bullet Raja’ to fly across to her. And when he dropped by, he was more than surprised to see none other than his other half, Bebo, at the airport!

Kareena apparently went to surprise Saif with a bouquet at the airport. Sources say she had a day off on Sunday and they thought of catching up. Saif reached Bhopal on Sunday morning and the couple spent most of the day in Bebo’s room! Not just this, we also hear that Bebo decided on the menu for the meal. A hotel source where Bebo was staying, disclosed, “They had dinner together. She decided the menu that included kathi rolls, seekh kebab, mutton biryani and diet cola for Saif. And chilly cheese toast, brown rice, yellow dal and bhindi for Kareena.”

Happy to see her hubby the source adds, “Kareena was very excited and had a glow on her face. She personally saw Saif off at the airport on his return.” Cute, aren’t they?

She explains, “Two people had some minor issues to deal with and then they sorted them out like mature adults. There is no hidden agenda in my friendship with Salman. Irrespective of whether or not I work with him, my equation with him won’t change. The very fact that he was by my side during the hard times makes me respect him as a human being.” Is John listening?

Rhea Chakravarthy bags Rohan Sippy’s next film!

Being at right place at right time really matters and newbie Rhea Chakravarthy is the best example of the same. The former VJ, who is set to make her debut with Yash Raj Films’ Mere Dad Ki Maruti, caught filmmaker Rohan Sippy’s attention at the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

The filmmaker was so impressed with the newbie that he decided to sign her up for his forthcoming film. It is learnt that during JTHJ premiere, the trailer of Mere Dad Ki Maruti was attached, and that’s how Rohan got to know about the young Bengali beauty.

Must say luck is definitely favoring the 24-year-old girl, who started her career as a TV host before dabbling in a Telugu film. The trailer of Mere Dad Ki Maruti turned about to be really lucky for her. It is learnt that when Rohan spotted Rhea, he was already coincidentally looking for a new face as well.

“Rohan was already on the lookout for an unknown name and Rhea obviously impressed him. He is now willing to cast her in his next. In fact, he even called her for the screen test,” the source said. Mere Dad Ki Maruti releasing on March 15 is directed by Ashima Chibber and also features Saqib Saleem, Ram Kapoor and Prabal Panjabi

There is no doubt over the fact that Sridevi ruled the roost way back in 1980s and the ’90s. In fact, she had turned to be an inspiration of sorts for many ladies around.

And interestingly, when Sri decided to face the camera again after 15 years for Gauri Shinde directed English Vinglish, her tale of being an inspiration continued. She again she claimed her spot under the sun with her outstanding performance in the film. On International Women’s Day, March 7, Sridevi talked about the real spirit of being a woman. When quizzed if she celebrated the day, she said, “There was no celebration as such but I am happy that there is a day to celebrate womanhood. God has made women very powerful, with the strength to give birth that only she is capable of. Also, in many ways women are responsible for shaping up the society by giving a good upbringing to the kids in their family and making them better citizens.

Talking of the acclamation she bagged for her comeback film, she said, “It feels nice when you are being appreciated. I was convinced about the story of the film and I could relate to it. I am happy that it was received well”.

Sridevi said that she is quite choosy about the script coming her way and doesn’t want to pick any random project. She added, “It is important that I do something worthy at this stage of my life. It has been a wonderful experience being a mother and bringing up two daughters and spending time with my husband. I wanted to be there for my kids when they were growing up. Now when both my daughters have grown up, my family convinced me to make a comeback. But I choose my work very carefully. It had to be a story worth getting associated with”.

It’s been around two years since Madhuri Dixit has shifted base to the country with her husband and children. And ever since then, the dancing diva is busy with brand endorsements, film deals, dance academy and invitations to some of the most high-profile parties and events.

Interestingly, her present profile is all contemporary which is helping her striking a balance in today’s changed approach towards marketing in Bollywood. However, this touch of modernity made her erase few chapters of her past and trusted secretary, who single handedly managed her career in the 90s, Rikku Rakeshnath, was also part of the past not required for present.

He quickly realized, his wife did not need just a manager, but a talent manager. And the hunt for a more professional, more business savvy team was on.”

This is when they started avoiding Rikku and officially bid him adieu when Anil introduced them to Reshma Shetty, she is the one managing the actress’ PR.

Farah Khan is on the look out for a new actress

Shirish Kumar and Farah Khan are looking for a new face, who will play the female lead in their next production venture. After their last box-office dud “Joker”, Shirish and Farah are planning to produce a new movie.

The new project will be helmed by a debutant director. Sources say that the movie is going to be a super-natural thriller.The 48-year-old made the announcement on Twitter. “We are producing a film with a new director and a superb script. Looking for a fantastic actress to play the female lead. Mail: 3scasting@gmail.com,” Farah tweeted.

On other hand, Farah Khan is busy shooting for her forthcoming film with Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan seems to have obstacles there too. Recently she signed south hero Prithviraj (of Ayya! fame) as the third lead in the movie but she is unable to find the fourth lead for this film. After John Abraham and Dev Patel turned down her offers, she has very limited options. As of now she is thinking of roping Ayushmann Khurrana or a newbie. But people close to Ayushmann are saying that he is not that interested to star in multi-starrers.

All we can hope is for farah to get the perfect people that she wishes and mesmerize us with her candy-floss dramas.

John Abraham moves out of Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Satya 2′ ?

John Abraham, who was confirmed to portray the lead role in ‘Satya 2’ which is the sequel to Ram Gopal Varma’s iconic crime drama ‘Sataya’ which was released in 1998. But now it seems that John Abraham is out of the movie and is confirmed by RGV himself.

The movie had most influential characters like Manoj Bajpai, J.D.Chakravarthy, Urmila Mantodkar, etc. However, RGV wanted to make movie with completely new characters with no connection to the prequel. This is the main reason why John had step out of the project right away which is what speculated.

Meanwhile, RGV made everything clear saying “John is not a part of the production. But the film has already started and is about 30% complete. ‘Satya 2’ is slated for an early June release.”

But we are not yet sure if this is the exact reason why John had to move out of the movie. Let’s hope there is no other controversy between RGV and John Abraham.

On the flip-side RGV is very confident about the movie’s outcome considering its story-line. Details of other cast is not yet revealed. We have to wait and see if the sequel will reach the standards set by ‘Satya’ which had created a new genre all together in Indian Cinema and inspired lot of young directors like Anurag Kashyap and Vishal Bharadwaj.

Why is Alia Bhatt so possessive about Siddharth Malhotra?

Alia Bhatt, who created ripples among the youth with a glamorous role in her debut venture ‘Student of the Year’ which was directed by Karan Johar, has already started drawing attention through her social life, sources reveal that she is having a cold fight with another bhatt camp actress Esha Gupta.

Guess why? Well, it’s because Alia Bhatt’s ‘Student of the Year’ co-star Siddharth Malhotra has been hanging out with Esha. Alia Bhatt was spotted giving angry stares to Esha during a recent photo shoot where lot of Bollywood’s new comers were present.

The source says, “A lot of newcomers from B-Town were present at the shoot. It was surprising to see Alia Bhatt do that to Esha, especially as the latter was launched by her father Mahesh Bhatt.”

Siddharth Malhotra and Esha Gupta were spending time with each other, hanging around as both of them are from Delhi but Alia seems to feel a bit possessive about Siddharth as he is her first co-star.

But however, this is where lot of rumours start to arise considering the fact that both are very new to the industry and had decent starts to their careers, let’s hope this brief cat fight does not lead to a huge Bollywood rivalry.

Priyanka Chopra and Imran Khan to pair up for Tigmanshu’s next

Priyanka Chopra loves to experiment with her roles. The actress recently worked with two new co-stars Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Gunday, and now, she is all set to pair up with Imran Khan for her next.

The multi talented actress along with Imran Khan have been roped in by Tigmanshu Dhulia for his next directorial venture Milan Talkies. The film deals with film piracy in a funny manner and is produced by Ekta Kapoor.

Presently, Tigmanshu is busy directing the gangster comedy Bullet Raja, which headlines Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. Priyanka Chopra and Imran Khan have been on Dhulia’s wish list from a very long time. Milan Talkies will go on floors once the filming of Bullet Raja is over in April this year.

Meanwhile, PeeCee has started shooting for her first item song for Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming film Shootout At Wadala.

The makers of the film state, “It’s our first association with Priyanka and we had to ensure that it was the best. We reviewed a number of songs over several weeks before finalising Babli badmaash!”

Priyanka Chopra is very excited about the number that will be choreographed by Ahmed Khan.

Shahrukh Khan & Salman Khan to clash at the BO this Eid?

Salman Khan and Eid are synonymous to each other. The actor has always pre booked Eid for his movie releases. However, this year, there could be strong competition between Sallu and his arch rival Shahrukh Khan, as the latter plans to get his film hit theaters on the festival.

Buzz is that this Eid, Salman Khan might not be able to meet the festival day’s deadline, as his film ‘Mental’ hasn’t rolled out yet. Initially, SRK keeping in mind Sallu’s Eid jalwa every year, wanted to push the release date of Chennai Express a little further, as he wanted to avert any sort of BO clash with his rival’s film. However, now that Salman’s film might not make it on Eid, Shahrukh’s plans have changed.

Salman Khan has given three back to back movie success every Eid. “Salman bhai had left his mark on the Eid date since the past three years, with Wanted, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger. This year, it could be SRK who could stake a claim to the date, which is also a holiday everywhere,” a source tells a tabloid.

Rumors also have it that Sunny Deol’s film Singh Saheb the Great may also have an Eid release. By the way, Eid is likely to fall on August 8, this year.
